Butte City is under a do-not-drink advisory until we receive a clean sample back.
- Water Shutoff 3/25/23
Well #1 has stopped producing water. At 10:00am the city water tank was at 2.25 ft.
Well #2 is going to be turned on, and the remaining tank water will be flushed until clear water is flowing.
The tank will be refilled and we will have water back to residents this evening.
Water coming from the tap will be considered non-potable until a sample can be submitted early next week.

The Butte City water tank is not re-filling at 100% capacity. Please use water sparingly while the issues are resolved.
- Water Shutoff 5/31/22
Water will be shut off to the city on May 31st, 2022 from 10:00am to approx. 2:00pm to install a new flow meter and to replace check-valves on each booster pump.
